Hey kids! It’s finally happened… your old vector_black has followed in wedge55’s footsteps and graduated from UC Davis. I’ve also moved to LA to start my new job in the animation industry. I have a real job and stuff! Yay for education.

Took a trip to Comic-Con in San Diego. Mostly it’s just a huge toy and video game expo and has very little to do with actual comics. The comic book booths are relegated to the far end of the expo hall where they can’t interfere with the frenzied merchandising and TV promotion that makes up the bulk of the event. And cosplay. Stopped by the Penny Arcade booth to see Gabe and Tycho firsthand. The bald one instantly offended me even from several feet away; I could practically see him using italics inappropriately as he spoke to people around him. Yucky.
