Since we have so much of a huge following here (read no following and probably if I ask you all for something I will get the opposite) I figured I’d tell you all how I have already voted in my lovely swing state of Nevada.

This uniquely unattractive Metal Gear Solid 4-branded Bluetooth headset showed up in the Performance Designed Products catalog and retail databases in Europe and the US over the weekend. The headset is modeled after Solid Snake’s stylish eye patch and features eight hours of talk time, a thirty-foot range, and a $60 price tag.

And while the thought of buying one to use as an actual headset only makes me cringe, $60 is a small price to pay for the perfect eye patch for that “Old Snake” Halloween costume.

Besides sporting superior box art, the Limited Edition of Metal Gear Solid 4 will include an additional Blu-ray disc featuring two “Making of…” documentaries, the game’s soundtrack, and an art book for those who who pre-order it. The Limited Edition version of the game is available exclusively at GameStop with a MSRP of $84.99 and will be released on June 12, 2008 alongside the Standard Edition.

Pre-ordering either version from participating retailers, whoever those may be, will also earn you a copy of the Metal Gear Saga Vol. 2 DVD, which includes videos detailing the history of the Metal Gear Solid series, trailers for Metal Gear Solid 4, and a Metal Gear Online beta code.

The Metal Gear Online beta itself will run from April 21st to May 5th.
