Logistical train

Last night, from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM, vector_black and I cooperatively played through the entirety of Quake 2 in a single sitting. My love for the original Quake is well documented in the forums, so I’ll spare you yet another Why Quake is Awesome tirade. But I will say this: Quake 4 sucks. That’s not prediction, but fact, because if history has taught us anything it’s that a Quake game devoid of shamblers, vors, and chainsaw-wielding ogres is doomed to failure. A very, very commercial successful failure.

We also drank some ten-year-old Nestle Quick. Let it never be said that we’re not living life on the edge over here.

And that’s really all I’ve gotz.

  1. Wedge didn’t have the cd, so he didn’t get to listen to the same heavy metal guitar riff for four or five hours.

  3. I’m writing a song, and I can’t quite get the last line down… I really need some help.

“When an apple turns red, it’s ready to pluck. When a girl turns 10, she’s ready to …” and then I draw a blank. Can anyone help me out?

  5. Arms, and the man I sing, who, forc’d by fate,
    And haughty Juno’s unrelenting hate,
Expell’d and exil’d, left the Trojan shore.
Warden just so happens to look like Tipper Gore.
