Don't expect to find any shining examples of game winning strategy here. The Warcraft 3 Replays provided by The DORK Club are more entertaining than educational. Unfortunately, you do need to have Warcraft 3 in order to view them, but with Blizzard's latest classic available on both the PC and MAC, you should have no excuse.

Version 1.21 Replays [5 Total]

3/29 - Tower Strat 2007 [download]
           Submitted by XxXazn_grrlXxX
The time table of events:

  • 30 minutes - Having destroyed Ornithopter's island o' towers in its infancy, and now facing XxXazn_grrlXxX's fully prepared fortress, floyd21 and xtra37 become frustrated.
  • 45 minutes - Flody21 and xtra37 remain in upkeep, build unnecessary copies of the same structures, and attempt a doomed necromancer assault.
  • 1 hour - Our opponents begin to employ invisibility and invulnerability potion-fueled hero charges. Several thousand gold later, our shop is destroyed.
  • 1 hour 30 minutes - We nearly convince our opponents to settle the match in a DotA game.
  • 2 hours - Ornithopter informs our opponents as to how they could defeat us. They adopt our suggestions.
  • 2 hours 30 minutes - We lose. Barely.

3/29 - LOL FFA [download]
           Submitted by XxXazn_grrlXxX
Player 1 (hahndog), Player 2 (escargo), and Player 3 (XxXazn_grrlXxX) stack the odds in their favor, joining the same ranked FFA match. Player 4 is quickly defeated and the remaining three players half-heartedly fight it out and learn that an acolyte can defeat a spirit walker.

3/29 - Fast Warden Win [download]
           Submitted by XxXazn_grrlXxX
It's hard to win using the warden strat these days. Unless your opponents leave six seconds into the game.

3/29 - Lost Temple - Land of Dreams [download]
           Submitted by XxXazn_grrlXxX
Actually, it's not that hard to win using the warden strat. As long as you're not rushed. And your opponents don't expand. And you don't have to fight an army of mechanical units. Still lots of fun, though.

3/29 - Piyonugget vs. Wedge55 [download]
           Submitted by XxXazn_grrlXxX
You've heard stories of the epic two hour game in which Piyonugget and Wedge55 used the warden strat against one another. Well, I'm here to tell you that the stories are true. For two hours, two wardens blinked through mazes of moonwells locked in unending conflict. Then we got bored and quit, but at least we left you a secret message at the end.

Version 1.17 Replays [1 Total]

10/2 - 3 on 1 Blademaster [download]
           Submitted by JessiahBlanche
JessiahBlanche, as LEEHAX-JPD, quickly loses both allies to a trio of firelords. However, having long since perfected the use of a single hero, LEEHAX-JPD slowly but surely turns the game around, using wind riders and tauren for defense while his blademaster takes to the offense, slowly widdling down the opposition by continually murdering their heroes and preventing them from expanding.

Version 1.16 Replays [39 Total]

8/14 - Total Pwnage [download]
           Submitted by End_My_TORMENT
End_My_TORMENT and Wheres_The_Pub prove that wardens + lots of moonwells + lots of air units is a guaranteed recipe for victory.

8/2 - Savior [download]
           Submitted by End_My_TORMENT
End_My_TORMENT teaches both his teammates and his opponents the glory of the lord as he uses the Christian Strat to bring victory and honor to God. Watch this replay so that you too may see the light.

8/2 - Surivzors [download]
           Submitted by Nathan
SatHan desperately holds on while fighting out of a makeshift base in the corner of the map in this Reign of Chaos replay.

8/1 - Adaptation [download]
           Submitted by Xenopax
This two hour FFA match has it all. Xenopax uses the Warden Strat, adapting to a difficult situation by adding chimeras, glaive throwers, and a sea witch to the mix, while Player 2 surrounds his base in a maze of towers while continually attacking with mortar teams and steam tanks. Oh, and there's a rather uninteresting orc and human player too.

8/1 - Warden Paradise [download]
           Submitted by Xenopax
Poor ThunderSpun plays right into Xenopax's Warden Strat, attacking with lots of ghouls, watching them all die, then attacking with lots of ghouls again. It's all part of ThunderSpun's plan though, because "[he's] good...rlly" and the Warden Strat is "not a good strat...some people think it is...but its not." His plan also involves losing. Badly.

7/31 - The Three (Panda) Samurai [download]
           Submitted by BOWstring_not_G
Their opponents are so taken aback by their ability to wield only three brewmasters and still come out victorious, they offer them a spot in their very own clan. It's almost touching. A celebration of pronouns.

7/31 - 4v4 Hero Win [download]
           Submitted by BOWstring_not_G
One blademaster + one tinker + one sea witch + one tauren chieftain = pwned.

7/31 - Blademaster Trio [download]
           Submitted by BOWstring_not_G
Who says you need moonwells for a hero only strategy? Apparently, lots and lots of towers work too, assuming you and your allies know how to handle your blademasters with the same degree of skill BOWstring_not_G and company display here.

7/30 - Stormguarde Bunker [download]
           Submitted by LOLLOLLLOLLOLZ
By using only a Blademaster and lots and lots of defensive towers, LOLLOLLLOLLOLZ takes control of nearly every gold mine on the map, constantly harasses his opponents, and leads his team to victory. Never underestimate the power of a blademaster.

7/30 - The Keeper of the Grove Strategy [download]
           Submitted by LOLLOLLLOLLOLZ
Finally utilizing The Frozen Throne, LOLLOLLLOLLOLZ modifies the Warden Strat to take advantage of the keeper of the grove (and to a lesser extent, the sea witch) and teaches a new undead player how to play the game.

7/30 - Setting Up Shop [download]

Three Warden Straters earn an arranged 3v3 win.

7/28 - The Blademaster/Chieftian/Tinker N00b Strat [download]
           Submitted by BOWstring_not_G
See title. See replay below. Use logic.

7/26 - The Blademaster/Lich/Warden SEX Strat [download]
           Submitted by BOWstring_not_G
The blademaster, lich, and warden are also a useful combination when supported by a maze of moonwells. Unfortunately, the maze never actually gets used in this game. Though the team eventually wins, it's largely due to their opponent's sheer sucktitude and the raw awesomeness of an unchecked blademaster. Spelling out "SEX" with ziggurats helps too.

7/25 - The Chronicles of PopcornChicken 2: For The Fans [download]
           Submitted by PopcornChicken
PopcornChicken agrees to play a 4v4 arranged team match with his last opponent's clanmate. Obviously he uses demolishers and bat riders to betray him and his newfound allies and then attacks the enemy with an army of peons. Then he kills most of his own base with towers. Our PopcornChicken is the new TillerMaN, only he's much more honest about being known primarily for being an asshole.

7/25 - The Chronicles of PopcornChicken 1: A New Friend [download]
           Submitted by PopcornChicken
I'd like to think that when Blizzard first birthed the night elf race, this is close to what they envisioned: small bands of soldiers (one warden in this case) raiding enemy encampments in the night, never letting up their constant hit-and-run siege. Though PopcornChicken is eventually defeated, his lovely comedic opponent leads him to a new friend.

7/25 - The Pit Lord/Tinker Strat [download]
           Submitted by BOWstring_not_G
It turns out that the pit lord and goblin tinker also work as substitutions for the warden. (And to answer your question, orbs disable both cleaving attack and black arrow.)

7/25 - A Lesson Well Learned [download]
           Submitted by Adam Rogers
Dear kr5z13, when someone tells you to "learn from your mistakes," they're telling you not to screw up in the exact same way five times in a row. Thank you, and have a nice day.

7/25 - Tabor and Adam's Warden Adventure [download]
           Submitted by Adam Rogers
Adding themselves to some of the greatest duos of all time, smokeblunt and angel_crusher once again show us just how to kick ass. Forced to defend a single base, they keep the pressure on their opponents, continually attacking their expansion mines. Their opponents try their best to stay on top, utilizing a variety of strategies such as building air and land-based siege units, using goblin sappers, and even trying to build moonwells outside our hero's base. After two hours, however, it is all for nothing, as smokeblunt and angel_crusher finally earn their win, ending the match with an open letter to me, wedge55.

7/25 - Not Quite [download]
           Submitted by angel_crusher
Angel_crusher's opponent, biggame, almost has an interesting strategy on his hands involving offensively towering in concentric circles from his start location. And building a couple mortar teams. And a steam tank. And, oh, let's get a beast master too. It turns out the Warden Strat is really good at beating complete newbies too. Who knew?

7/23 - Warden: The Anti-Rush [download]
           Submitted by Adam Rogers
Faced with a fierce rush from an orc and human opponent who refuse to let up, angel_crusher and smokeblunt do the same, keeping constant pressure on their opponents. Eventually their dual warden goodness wins through as two more of the uninitiated learn the glory of the Warden Strat.

7/23 - The New Standard [download]
           Submitted by Adam Rogers
A very fast, very clean example of a win earned via the Warden Strat. As seems to be the norm these days, rakeyohn creates a moonwell swastika and advertises dorkclub.com just before finishing off his opponent.

7/23 - Mountain King/Sea Witch Combo [download]
           Submitted by BOWstring_not_G
Yet another variant on the Warden Stat, this time using only a mountain king and a sea witch to bring their opponents to their knees. I think it's safe to assume moonwells are going to receive some major tweaking in the next patch.

7/22 - A Day of Warcraft [download]
           Submitted by Hahndog
What if PopcornChicken (Player 1) and two friends (Player 3 and Hahndog) made it into the same ladder FFA match? What if their only opponent dropped right from the start? The answer's simpler than you think, and it involves words spelled in moonwells ("ass," "hi bliz," "dorkclub"), peon prisons, a hero with five auras, and two lonely trees which refused to die. Which is then followed by fourteen hours of inactivity. But when a Warcraft 3 ladder game is just over twenty-four hours long, you can't expect to be entertained for every second. Enjoy.

7/22 - Warnithopter Win [download]
PopcornChicken and wedge55 finally get a win using the Warden/Ornithopter strategy, thanks largely to a pair of opponents who don't understand that in order to destroy something it must first be attacked.

7/22 - The Master Connection Mk II [download]
           Submitted by BOWstring_not_G
Another variant on the Warden Strat, this time using a warden, a blademaster, and a naga sea witch. As always, our heroes prevail, and they make sure their opponents realize just who's winning through a series of insults in the highly entertaining chatlog.

7/22 - Dying Breed [download]
          Submitted by LOLLOLLLOLLOLZ
Another Reign of Chaos replay, and it features our infamous Tower Strat to boot. It's nice to see that the strategy is still effective in RoC, as many of the new additions in The Frozen Throne (bat riders, invincibility potions) make it easily beatable. Hang in there, LOLLOLLLOLLOLZ and w00t-w00t. You're a dying breed of the best variety.

7/18 - Tower Battleground [download]
           Submitted by LOLLOLLLOLLOLZ
An excellent Reign of Chaos replay (which gets posted here because if you own The Frozen Throne, chances are you own Reign of Chaos too) in which LOLLOLLLOLLOLZ uses only towers and a blademaster in this 3v3 match. Remember what catapults look like? No? WELL NOW YOU CAN!

7/16 - The Master Connection [download]
           Submitted by JessiahBlanche
Quickly making a name for themselves here at dorkclub.com, JessiahBlanche and Stilgar continue to produce interesting replays as they modify the Warden Strat in this 2v2 game, using a blademaster and a beastmaster in this double BM strategy. After a lengthy two hour game in which Stilgar is forced to leave about half way through, JessiahBlanche (as MyLifeForGod) finally out-resources his opponents for the win.

7/16 - How to Beat a Warden [download]
PopcornChicken and I decide to show the world just how to beat the Warden Start, and though neither of use are playing at our best (see the replay below), you still get the point regardless. We randomly choose one of the 1v1 maps in ladder rotation. I choose random as my race and don't adapt my strategy until I actually see what PopcornChicken is up to. Change your strategy to adapt to a changing situation. Not doing so is everyone's biggest mistake, and the reason most people lose to the Warden Strat. By steadily keeping pressure on the Warden Start it eventually crumbles.

7/16 - The Suck Wars [download]
This is, by far, the worst game PopcornChicken and wedge55 have ever played. Our plan is to rush our opponents with our starting ghouls, only both of our opponents are human, armed with very lethal militia. I then completely screw up by building too many ziggurats, then canceling one and unsummoning another, and getting stuck with no hero and no army with both enemies in my base. Then we screw up a few more times, including accidentally attacking creeps and our opponents at the same time. Twice.

7/16 - Wedge55 Versus The World [download]
TKing, BSing, being an asshole, whatever you call it, it's a whole lot of fun. This replay comes full of friendly mortar team attacks, a dozen necropolises, and an angry, angry chatlog. I also get brilliance as my level one skill, which is totally an action of self-aware rebellion.

7/16 - Peon Burrow Madness [download]>
Our plan was to harvest as many resources as possible, but our opponents had other plans. Though we ultimately lose, at least our opponents hold off long enough so we can produce a fantastic chatlog. Also: lots of burrows.

7/16 - FUK [download]
The infamous FUK farm hack in action.

7/15 - The Price of Fame [download]
           Submitted by PopcornChicken
Chances are WoL)FaTaLiTy, PopcornChicken's opponent, reads this site, as he not only recognizes PopcornChicken's account name, but the Warden Strat as well. Still, with all this knowledge in hand, and after two hours of play, WoL still manages to lose. Don't worry, though, I've compiled a short list of actions you should have taken in order to ensure your victory:

  • When you know your opponent is in a position to beat you, don't rush using only your hero. In fact, don't bother rushing at all.
  • Try changing your strategy to adapt to a changing situation.
  • Tell PopcornChicken your favorite emoticon.
  • See those useless items on your heroes? Sell them and use the gold to build an acolyte to either mine your unused gold mine or to unsummon a few of your unused structures. Either way, you get money.
  • Build some siege units.
  • Don't leave the instant you're in a position to win.

7/15 - Hacking For Hitler [download]
           Submitted by PopcornChicken
Maybe it's PopcornChicken's mocking sense of humor or an opponent set on reporting our hero for using a "bot" that makes this Warden Strat replay so good. Or maybe it's the swastika PopcornChicken makes out of moonwells. In his opponent's base.

7/15 - Wardens of Justice [download]
           Submitted by Stilgar
This is the best pseudo 3v2 Warden Strat with lots of "all" chat antics for version 1.16 of The Frozen Throne available from dorkclub.com. Honest.

7/15 - Obvious Maphack [download]
The plan: join random team games and take my own life while spaming "dorkclub.com."
The wrinkle: Predator77 reacts to my peons destroying my own town hall without actually scouting my position and then later provides grammatically incorrect running commentary such as "here he coe" and "now hes creeping" when there is no possible way he could have seen my actions. Oops.

7/07 - Loud and Clear [download]
           Submitted by Stilgar
A team of three (one of which uses the Christian Strat) takes on three opponents, giving their own play-by-play and revealing every one of their actions for both teams to hear via "All" chat. And they win. There's militia and peons defending a base, there's a priestess of the moon with 1850 hit points, and there's an army of troll bat riders which succeeds at blowing itself up. Go. Watch. Enjoy.

6/29 - Warnithopter [download]

Submitted by Adam Rogers
Mr_oyster and Player 4 are buddies, and through the magic of Automated Mach Making, manage to end up in the same FFA together. Their poor opponents never stood a chance against the ornithopter/warden combination. And just before victory, mr_oyster even advertises this very site to his downed opponent. Hint: this will get your replay online.

6/27 - Guerilla (Chimera) Warfare [download]

Submitted by Adam Rogers
Faced with an opponent who doesn't know the difference between "your" and "you're," and_I_win utilizes the always entertaining Warden Strat. What follows is an exciting back-and-forth struggle as his opponent throws down some insane hit-and-run and diversionary tactics, but ultimately surrenders to and_I_win's infinite perseverance.

6/25 - Replay 100 (OMFG) [download]

Submitted by PopcornChicken
The DORK Club's 100th replay, and a worthy replay it is. The game begins innocently enough, PopcornChicken singing his battle cry, but as soon as his opponent catches wind of the large amounts of Warden and Strategy present in PopcornChicken's camp, things start to get interesting. And by interesting, I mean off-towering (do people still use that term?), ballistae en masse, and PopcornChicken's stern refusal to surrender.

6/25 - The Good Fight [download]

Submitted by PopcornChicken
Though PopcornChicken ultimately loses, he puts up one helluva fight, killing 116 units and 5 heroes over the course of a single hour. However, when his only gold mine explodes, and he is unable to acquire another, the game quickly changes from one of impending victory to one of delayed defeat.

6/25 - Estrategia del Guarda [download]

Submitted by PopcornChicken
A tried and true, by the books, fast and dirty, textbook (book-book) Warden Start by our own PopcornChicken. A great introduction for the uninitiated.

6/14 - Christian Strat [download]
Magic units are sinful. Therefore, the only way for a true Christian to enjoy Warcraft 3 is through the highly innovative, and rarely effective, Christian Strategy, which involves using the powers of a paladin, priests, and your faith in our lord to destroy your infidel opponents.

6/14 - Fish-Hearted Rapist of Close Relatives [download]
Vector_black takes control of wedge55 and allies himself with Piyonugget as they face a team of Warden Strating enemies. Watch as Piyonugget tries his best to salvage the game as vector_black (still as wedge55) sends an endless stream of fat, exp-rich footmen into the opponents' arms. Then watch as they lose. The chat log alone is worth the price of admission. Which, in this case, is nothing.

6/10 - Orni-Warden 0-2: Delay of Game... Again [download]
With wedge55 and PopcornChicken's heroes killed, their means of producing reinforcements destroyed, and nothing but an army of the single weakest offensive unit in the game, this dynamic duo continues to transform their personal failure into other people's annoyance. Keep on rocking, brothers. Keep on rocking.

6/10 - Orni-Warden 0: Delay of Game [download]
Considering the success found with the Warden Strategy and the Ornithopter strategy, we've decided to combine the two. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. At all. But at least we have turned delaying an impossible situation into an art form. And people still say you can't hide the farm in The Frozen Throne.

6/10 - The Kindest Generation [download]
Not the most entertaining of replays, but it does answer the age old question, "What happens if, when using the Warden Strategy, your opponent refuses to attack you?" The answer is simpler than you might think.

6/08 - Team Warden DX Pt. 2 [download]
Also tied for Best Dorkclub.com 1.15 Replay, this replay embodies everything inherently fun about the warden strategy, as it transformers Warcraft 3 from a game of strategy to a balls-out action title. And it's a freakout hell ride of entertainment. Highlight of the game: a single warden taking on two armies and surviving, but only truly triumphing with a little help from her allies. There's a moral in there somewhere.

6/08 - Team Warden DX Pt. 1 [download]
We take it to the next level in this flawed 3v3 warden only game. We lose, but we learn some valuable lessons, such as how not to suck. There's a little farm hiding action thrown in there for all the kids.

6/08 - How to Beat a Team of Wardens DX [download]
Rush.

6/08 - How to Beat a Team of Wardens [download]
Attack quickly, and don't let up until your opponents are dead.

6/08 - Team Warden Pt. 2 [download]
Tied for Best Dorkclub.com 1.15 Replay, this one has it all: one hero armies, ironic combat, idiocy-filled chat logs, post-modernism, homosexuality, and PopcornChicken and wedge55 acting like jerks to people who deserve it. Pork chops for everyone.

6/08 - Team Warden Pt. 1 [download]
Wedge55 and Piyonugget put their skills(z0rz) to the test, in their first ever 2v2 warden only bonanza. Because their opponents spend so much of the game creeping, they are able to do the same, getting their wardens to level five before they even see the enemy's army. Stuff happens. Some LAN time runs out. Our good 'ol boys come out the winners.

6/08 - Wardens, Towers, and Skill-less Opponents [download]

Submitted by Piyonugget
No, his warden isn't defeating your entire army by all herself. It's Piyonugget's army of invisible units. Built from invisible buildings.

6/08 - How Not to Kill a Warden [download]

Submitted by Piyonugget
Though his enemy starts off on the right foot by trapping Piyonugget's warden in his base and slowly luring her out to face his army, he ultimately fails when he decides a single warden is not a match for an entire army. To add stupidity to failure, he is then completely unable to destroy Piyonugget's alter. Then he does it all again. Oops.

6/08 - The Warden Strategy [download]

Submitted by Piyonugget
Thanks to her unique assortment of skills, it's entirely possible to beat a skilled opponent using only a warden, a few ancients of wonder, and lots and lots of moonwells, as Piyonugget so aptly demonstrates here. Because the warden can teleport in and out of danger with blink, deal large amounts of damage to surrounding foes with fan of knives, take down high level creeps and heroes with shadowstrike, and has an instant army in her ultimate, she makes for a formidable one woman fighting force. The quarter of a hundred moonwells help too.

6/08 - Newb Air [download]
A 4v4 Arranged Team match gets slightly more interesting than usual when wedge55 demonstrates how not to build "newbir." Hint: it involves lots of flying machines.

6/08 - Ornithopter FFA [download]
PopcornChicken's ornithopter strategy also works well in post-patch FFA games, though this replay quickly proves that the wall of towers isn't just a convenience, but a necessity.

6/08 - Ornithopter [download]

Submitted by PopcornChicken
In the game of Magic: The Gathering, an ornithopter is a flying 0/2 artifact creature which costs zero mana to cast. It lives only to die. In Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, the flying machines serves the same primary purpose. They are cheap, take up a single food, have less hit points than a peasant, and require a tier 3 upgrade before they can even attack ground units. Yet, if you build enough of them you can still win, as the lovely PopcornChicken (disguised here as the great Ornithopter himself) so skillfully proves.

7/30 - No Matter What [download]
Before the game even started, we knew this replay would make it online, no matter what. Watch in amazement as our opponents do nothing, sitting in their base for fifteen minutes as we kill nearly ever creep camp on the map before getting bored and walking through our opponents' base like it was something which was easily walkthrough-able. Chat log!

7/30 - Good (Tourney) Game [download]
SweetCupinCakes and wedge55 take it to the hole (basketball reference) in this action-packed tournament game from the Gnoll Wood 2v2 Tournament. Both of us suffer heavy losses, as we desperately fight to stay alive against our enemies' relentless assault. In the end, our perseverance wins through, earning us a much deserved win.

7/30 - Semen Craziness Pt. 3 [download]
Team Semen takes on Team Thinks They're Clever But They're Not with incredible results. After SemenChin sacrifices several peasants to creeps, and following SemenFace's defeat and SemenMouth's disconnection, the remaining forces of Team Semen dig in deep for the grandest delay of game ever.

7/30 - Semen Craziness Pt. 2 [download]
GFrazier taught us this strat. It is good but hard.

7/30 - Semen Craziness Pt. 1 [download]
SemenChin (wedge55), SemenMouth (Piyonugget), and SemenFace (PopcornChicken) make up Team Semen, the least coordinated team on all of Battle.net! One of us tries to hero rush, one of us tries to tower rush, and one of us just attacks with lots and lots of peons. We almost win! (We don't.)

Generally speaking, the purpose of melee units in a team game is to act as a "meat shield," absorbing damage so as the ranged units, heroes, and casters behind their ranks can dish out the real sauce and, if time allows, lay their smack down. In this entertaining replay, X-Treme proves that Peons serve this role just as well as Grunts or Knights ever could.

Submitted by Jerry Bachmann
Xenopax, BigSlacks, and TheGnome use Orc Watch Towers to quickly rush their opponents on Stormguarde, using Human Farms to create a wall between their target's base and the outside world, effectively preventing the remainder of his team from coming to his aid. With one opponent defeated, the team quickly makes with the whoop ass, earning a much deserved win.

6/28 - The Immortal Paladin [download]

6/28 - Human Tag Team [download]

Submitted by Piyonugget
Some people seem to have trouble understanding the concept of "free for all." Case in point: two Human players who thought launching coordinated strikes against Piyonugget, Warcraft 3 champion of uh... something, utilizing heroes bloated with experience after defeating his only Orc opponent, would be a good idea. It wasn't, as he overcomes a constant Steam Tank barrage for the win.

6/28 - Hide And Win [download]

Submitted by ImBlind_NotDeaf
I suck at it, Farm_Power[FH] first invented it, and ImBlind_NotDeaf proves that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Bow your heads before the return of the Hide An Ancient strategy! The fact that his Undead opponent is completely without skill and is effectively defeated by the map's creeps, only make this replay more amusing.

6/4 - In The Land of The Blind... Pt. 2 [download]
Still employing my specially designed Glasses O' Blindness™, I headed onto Battle.net. I informed my ally of my condition. He left. I asked the enemy to go easy on me. They didn't. It was hot. I lost. Now you have no reason to actually download the replay. You're welcome.

6/4 - In The Land of The Blind... Pt. 1 [download]
After reading this article over at Starcraft Legacy about a pair of Korean Starcraft players who are not only blind, but are actually pretty good, I decided to step into their eyes and play Warcraft 3 sans vision. I modified a pair of safety goggles to completely impair my vision and got to work. I started small, against a single computer set to "easy," but was quickly defeated nonetheless. However, this was only the beginning of things to come...

In all honesty, this is probably the best Warcraft 3 match I have ever played. Both sides decimate their opponents bases, leaving each battling one another with a rag-tag team of half-dead heroes and units while desperately trying to "hide the farm" and stay alive.

6/4 - Hide and Found [download]
I attempt to copy Farm_Power[FH]'s brilliant Ancient hiding strategy. I fail. My opponent toys with me for thirty minutes. I suck.

6/4 - 1.06 Tower Rush [download]
You know the drill: Orc player tower rushes opponent. Allies back him up. Opponents try desperately to survive. They don't. Now updated for a new millennium!

5/15 - Insanity [download]

Submitted by withmeyouNOTwin
Where to begin... i69-DrUiDoFCLaW immediately leaves the game, leaving another player, presumably F.UCK-U to cause his Acolytes to build and unsummon Necropolises until he is completely out of resources. Meanwhile, F.UCK-U builds ten peons, destroys his Great Hall, hides a Burrow, and then proceeds to backstab his opponents, killing GHOSTOFOBLIVION's Keeper of the Grove in the process. Meanwhile, on the other side of the tracks, LoWnaGe is busy spelling out "F.U." and drawing smiley faces with Wisps. Unfortunately his team mate CrzyFag doesn't seem to take to his idea and proceeds to kill him. Later in the game he then kills his other team mate Michael2232. I just... Insanity.

Submitted by withmeyouNOTwin
withmeyouNOTwin does more than submit these excellent replays, he also studies them, fully digesting each and every delicious morsel of information they offer. Case in point: withmeyouNOTwin masterfully uses the questionable creep placement on Ogre Mount to quickly and effortlessly defeat his opponent. Remember kids, it's only an exploit if you're on the receiving end.

5/14 - Spoils of War [download]

Submitted by withmeyouNOTwin
There's a reason Blizzard has made numerous changes to the role creeps play to The Frozen Throne. Chief among them is the fact that you can spend the entire gaming killing creeps, earning experience, and placing four claws of attack on your level 8 Mountain King without ever seeing the opponent.

When we used to play Starcraft, LeadPipe would always play as Protoss, surrounding his base in Photon Cannons and then fast-teching to Carriers. This game's like that, only with Guard Towers and Gyrocopters.

5/12 - Unseen Mortar Team [download]

Submitted by withmeyouNOTwin
Remember when you used to play Starcraft? It was fun. Then Brood War came out and completely changed the way you played the game. For one thing, you needed detectors, lots of detectors, as soon as possible. When playing Warcraft 3, detectors are all but useless... until your opponent sends a dozen invisible Dwarven Mortar Teams into your base.

4/26 - Uber Ancient Rush MK 4 [download]

Submitted by withmeyouNOTwin
Excellence is not a term to be taken lightly, but this replay is exactly that - excellent. This epic struggle between the all Night Elf team, Whisp, and their opponents, a mish-mash of races, team BaT, is a must download. The game starts with an all-out Ancient of War rush from the Whisp team and, after team BaT looses one of its four members, the game evolves into a viscous back-and-forth air battle. A must watch.

2/9 - The Comedian vs. Some Guy [download]

Submitted by Matty05
An interesting game played by the Undead Matty05 and the Human DrewCarey as they struggle for control of the Tranquil Paths. Most of the game comprises of expansion/anti-expansion tactics with constant skirmishes between the two warring players. Despite DrewCarey's best efforts (lots of steam tanks), Matty05 is victories thanks in no small part to his two heroes.

2/9 - Change of Pace: The Precursor Legacy [download]

Submitted by withmeyouNOTwin
Strangest. Game. Ever. The game begins as withmeyouNOTwin has the nerve to build a town hall within his ally's base and then militia rush his teammate. Meanwhile, this very teammate is busy constructing an army of ancients outside their opponent's base. After a quick change of withmeyouNOTwin's tactics (he stops killing his ally), they defeat their enemies using only ancients of war and an archmage. Incredible.

2/9 - Change of Pace: The Militia Strikes Back [download]

Submitted by withmeyouNOTwin
It looks as though withmeyouNOTwin has tweaked and perfected his unbeatable strategy. Again, he militia rushes his ally right off the bat, yet somehow convinces them not to return the favor. After killing his ally's hero and Moonwell, they work together to defeat their opponents with a healthy mix of Footmen and Huntresses.

2/9 - Change of Pace: The Legend Continues [download]

Submitted by withmeyouNOTwin
This time around withmeyouNOTwin gets a crazy notion in his head... not attacking his ally. Instead, he uses his militia rushing magic against both of his unsuspecting opponents and, with some heavy support form his ally, violently clubs his way to victory.

1/22 - Clash of The Titans [download]

Submitted by TuHai Le
After an ongoing back-and-forth air battle between gold.'s Undead Gargoyles and b.c_noway's Orcish Wyvern Riders, both players are left with few resources and fewer expansions. Both players continue to raid their opposition's expansions, slowly wearing each other down in a non-stop hero-only battle. While b.c_noway gains the upper hand, and almost clinches victory, gold. makes an extraordinary comeback for the win.

1/8 - Ganked [download]

Submitted by Executive
These are the kinds of games that make you wish Blizzard had set up replays to record chat along with the game. Poor fs-executive is brutally beaten by all three of his enemies in a supposed Free For All match, left with only his militia and his hero to defend his base. Was he the target of a carefully planned coup or random circumstance? The world will never know.

1/8 - Outnumbered, But Not Outgunned [download]

Submitted by Acid-Killer
After being abandoned by both his allies, Acid-Killer is left alone to command all three armies against just as many adept players. By quickly amassing a large force of tier one units and catching his enemies by surprise, Acid-Killer his able to march right three all three of his opponents with minimum effort.

1/8 - Tower Rush Gone Wrong [download]

Submitted by Justen Brown
During a 3v3 match, Dunno_THEONE has his base completely surrounded by Orc towers. Despite their best efforts, his team can do little against them and it isn't long before he is utterly defeated. Fueled by the loss of their comrade, his allies continue to struggle in a 2v3 match up, but come up ahead in the end thanks to the abundance of creeps their opponents did not bother killing. Plus, you get to see a player with the handle "BURNtheFAGGOTS" get beaten. Bad. If that's not enough incentive for you, I don't know what is.

12/18 - Buggy Bug [download]
IrishFolkDancer (Wedge55) and Monkeybowels (PopcornChicken) confirm their worst fears by witnessing first hand the power of the Human Town Hall. By repeatedly upgrading and then canceling the structure, a player can actually heal the building by roughly 1000 hp at a cost of only 25% of the original upgrade. It's not a bug. It's a feature!

12/18 - Hero Blitzkrieg [download]
IrishFolkDancer (Wedge55) and Piyonugget (Piyonugget) again demonstrate their ability to come up with interesting, if useless, strategies and find people who can actually be defeated by them. By speed building both of their alters, IrishFolkDancer and Piyonugget are able to produce Archmages fast enough so as to disrupt their opponents for the remainder of the game.

12/18 - 30 Seconds To Fame [download]
Some opponents take hours of intense back-and-forth combat to finally conquer. Some leave thirty seconds into the game. This is their story... the story of the latter kind of opponents... the ones who leave thirty seconds into the game...

11/5 - 3v3 (1v1) [download]

11/5 - The Best Defense[download]

Submitted by TheNooKieArA
Adding a new meaning to the old saying, this crazy bunch of Night Elf players actually use defensive structures as their means of attack. Sure, they're giant walking trees, but they're still defensive structures. Ah, the joys of a good old fashion tree rush.

10/26 - Official Militia Rush [download]
Popcorn Chicken (as MonkeyBowels) and Wedge55 (as IrishFolkDancer) continue their dominance of the USWest ladder with a quick ten minute militia rush. This is the official militia rush of dorkclub.com. Watch and be amazed.

10/24 - Furblog H4xxx [download]
Leadpipe (as SMOKINGMONKEY) and Wedge55 (as IrishFolkDancer) try their best to produce a replay worth posting. What we get is this. While we try to use a "zany strat," mass Frost Wyrms and Steam Tanks seems to be the best we got. Luckily, our opponents actually make it an interesting game by hiding over a dozen farms across the map. Despite the fact that it took us longer to find the farms than to destroy our opponent's bases, they still called us hackers. Because, you know... Furblogs...

10/24 - Druids, Shamen, and Ghouls. Oh my! [download]
             Submitted by L-SeVeR
This game clearly exemplifies the division of labor which should be used in team games. The L team's use of Druids of The Talon, Shamen, and Ghouls, allows them to completely wipe out their enemies Huntresses and Wyverns. This game also demonstrates why you should change your strategy mid-game if your opponent has successfully countered it, rather than trying to strong arm your way to victory.

10/24 - (Militia Rush)2 [download]
          Submitted by L-SeVeR
Two Humans. Two Night Elves. The choice is made clear. The L team quickly gets to work, building two town halls just outside their opponent's base. A couple dozen militia later, they never knew what hit them.

10/21 - Ridiculous 2v2 [download]

Submitted by Craig Ruuska
The game starts out as an average team game with undead squared off against humans, but soon becomes anything but. After over an hour of rigorous back and forth air combat, the undead team, proudly displaying the name Zomb, is exiled to a single island. With both teams out of gold, the humans storm the island and, after a long and gruesome battle, the undead emerge victorious. With no remaining units, the Zomb team's two heroes and single meat wagon make short work of the remaining human structures.

OmfOmfOmfgSTFU and I.have.3.Boobs utilize a modified version of the tower strategy pioneered by dorkclub.com staffers Wedge55, PopcornChicken (Monkeybowels), and Piyonugget to easily defeat two of the mightiest newbs on Battle.net. Important lesson of the match: Shamen can't kill towers.

10/20 - Sweetbippy Steals The Show [download]
             Submitted by Piyonugget
Piyonugget's first FFA win (as Sweetbippy)! Watch as every player on the map succumbs to StoneSour.K01's wrath. Every player but one. Beaten, but not defeated, Piyonugget rallies his troops against all odds to come out ahead. It does help that StoneSour.K01 decided to go AFK for a few crucial minutes, but this is Piyonugget at the top of his game. His opponents were dead before the match even started.

10/20 - An Orc, A Night Elf, And A Lesson [download]

 Submitted by Darkium
While nether player displays any remarkable skills, there's enough innovative strategy to warrant watching this replay. The orc player, Lettvce, tries first to use a Blademaster/Head Hunter combo, and then switches to a Stasis Trap/Catapult strategy which, while ultimately not effective, could prove to be the basis of a more refined strategy.

10/14 - Never Give Up [download]
             Submitted by L-FeVeR
Easily one of the most intense games I've ever seen. Despite gaining the advantage by quickly destroying one of their enemies, me.orc and L-FeVeR quickly lose the momentum and are made to face overwhelming odds. Still, they persevere, beating back the furry of two Night Elf opponents and scraping together for a win.

Much to Acid-Killer's dismay, a standard 4v4 match up quickly becomes a 4v1. Luckily, he has the skills to handle it, and disposes of his four opponents with relative ease.

9/21 - The Siege To End All Sieges [download]
Piyonugget and IrishFolkDancer again put the "tower strat" to good use, only this time facing competent opponents. The end result is a dead stand-still, with both sides facing a brutal war of attrition. Ten hours and sixteen minutes later, we emerge victorious.

9/12 - Brother Versus Brother [download]
           Submitted by Jan Alwyn Grajo
It's human against human in this no holds bar match up with great micro management on both sides. oKCJan teaches Kotr-Thrall that the Archmage really is better than the Mountain King. Either that, or that pressuring your opponent into into a defensive position while expanding is a sure fire formula for victory.

9/7 - Militia Hero Super Happy Luck Fun [download]
Who says you need a "barracks" or "army?" All you need is lots of militia, three heroes, and a stupid opponent.

9/7 - Isles of Doom Pt. 2 [download]
Monkeybowels and IrishFolkDancer continue to dominate the ladder in this impressive tour de force. The emotionally charged finale will have you at the edge of your seat. Powerful entertainment.

9/6 - Isles of Doom Pt. 1 [download]
The first (and surprisingly successful) use of Monkeybowels' and IrishFolkDancer's newest "strategy." This is the first time I'm not on the receiving end of an imbalance. Is it even possible to defeat two islands completely covered in towers? If this game is any indication, it isn't.

9/6 - Defeat of The PSF [download]
We were beaten by the likes of CrazyJim, CrazyAssassin, and a host of other superior players. We were beaten quickly, efficiently, and effortlessly. It's not every day you get to lose to the best.

7/24 - Worst. Game. Ever. [download]
The lack of skill of my allies is surpassed only by that of my enemies. Still, somehow we managed to win even though my base was destroyed five minutes into the game thanks to my allies complete absence of support. Highlight of the game: when red's Wyverns are killed by a group of creeps.

7/24 - Negal Fireye's Crusade [download]

7/24 - MotherRussia's Revenge Pt. 1 [download]
If you ever happen to be in a game with MotherRussia, leave immediately, as you're not going to win. I BS my allies right off the bat in this game, and pay dearly for it, as they both proceed to wipe out my base. However, later in the game, when purple finally leaves, I get a brand new army with which to piss people off. Don't think of it as wrong, think of it as getting revenge against all the idiots who don't know how to play the game and have cost me countless (21) wins.
